I posted my website address to Find a Grave in Duval County Cemeteries. I included burials in Pena Cemetery, Pila Blanca ( both in Duval), plus others such as Collins and Sta Gertrudis. Not all burials have tombstones, which is sad. Hope this helps genealogists find their loved ones.

Thank you Alfredo for posting my Duval County Cemeteries Facebook Page, I am concerned about losing these outdoor history books that are located in so many different Duval County Ranches. I hope people will post photos of family cemeteries so we can document information for future generations. I appreciate all you do to preserve the history of Texas and Duval County. Saludos, Edna

How true about what you said. I used to work in Alice for Walker/Mora funeral home at the time!

I was in La Rosita a few years back looking for my Cantu Ancestors and stopped at the cemetery there. After talking to someone they guided me to another cemetery down the road that had many of Cantus and Coulings. I spent several hours in the area visiting some of the cemeteries looking for Cantus. Growing up my father always mentioned La Rosita, so I just had to go and find it.
